Why do you not include a search of civil records?

In our years of experience running pre-employment background checks for corporate employers, we have simply not found civil searches to be widely used by most employers.  This is typically because Civil searches are expensive to process due to the fact that they lack good identifiers to establish a positive match to the subject in question.  Furthermore, civil searches are typically going to return information that is irrelevant to most employers except in rare circumstances.

Our belief is that your money is better spent “showing employers what they really want to see” such as validation of your clean criminal history, educational degree and more.
