Background Screening for Compliance
Drivers who possess a CDL are required to pass a DOT Background Check including drug and alcohol screening as well as a thorough employment screening process before they can transport materials. The FMCSA requires that employers obtain at least three years’ worth of work and driving experience on potential employees. We help trucking and transportation companies meet compliance requirements and avoid the hassle of hefty fines and penalties. We also conduct ongoing screening and criminal background checks to protect you from potential litigation.
Truck Driver Background Checks and Core Screening
CDL drivers are subject to a core screening process that includes a search of the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, a review of state motor vehicle records for the past three years, in addition to employment information that includes prior drug and alcohol abuse violations for positions held at each previous employer over that timeframe. Our goal is to establish whether there are discrepancies between reported and recorded information. We also do a criminal record search and address history to keep business owners safe from hidden issues down the road.
Ongoing Compliance: Drug, Alcohol and Health Screening
Our ongoing screening services help to streamline compliance with FMCSA regulations.
