FCRA Disclosure Regarding Consumer Report

FCRA Disclosure Regarding Investigative Consumer Report
This document is the disclosure regarding an investigative consumer report that must be made to an applicant prior to running a background check that includes interviews with professional or personal references. This disclosure is sufficient if you are only doing reference interviews. If you are running additional background checks in additional to reference interviews than you must also provide the disclosure for a Consumer Report.

FCRA Summary Of Rights
This is the Summary of Rights as prescribed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. As a best practice, you should give a copy of these rights to your applicants or employees anytime your are making a disclosure regarding a background check being processed, providing copies of reports or taking adverse action.
